The Role
At RobusTest, technical support goes beyond ticket resolution — it's about solving real customer problems, working closely with engineers and QA teams, and helping users unlock the full potential of the platform every day.
We're looking for a Jr. Onsite Product Support – Technical Associate to deliver outstanding technical support to our customers while contributing to continuous product improvement. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our customer's office in Bengaluru.
What You'll Do
Customer Support
- ● Triage, investigate, and resolve customer support tickets using your technical expertise
- ● Follow up proactively to ensure issues are resolved thoroughly and promptly
- ● Understand customer challenges deeply and translate them into actionable solutions
- ● Build comprehensive knowledge of the RobusTest platform to provide effective support
- ● Gather customer requirements through direct conversations and calls, clearlyunderstand their needs, and translate them into structured requirements for theengineering team
- ● Act as the bridge between the customer and the engineering team — follow up internallyon requirement status and ensure timely delivery and release back to the customerCollaboration & Product Improvement
● Partner with internal testing and development teams to identify root causes and implement fixes
- ● Provide structured feedback to the Product team to prevent recurring issues
- ● Contribute insights from customer interactions to drive product enhancementsDevice Lab Operations
- ● Ensure operational uptime of the customer's device lab — managing device availability, software updates, and general maintenance
- ● Coordinate with the customer's IT team to resolve network and infrastructure issues
- ● Serve as the primary liaison between customer teams and RobusTest Product Supportfor all device lab matters
- ● Monitor device lab health proactively and flag potential issues before they escalateDocumentation
- ● Update and maintain product documentation, API documentation, and the knowledge base whenever changes or fixes are made
- ● Create documentation for new features, enhancements, and releases
- ● Ensure the knowledge base stays current and useful for both customers and internalteamsWhat We're Looking ForProblem-Solving & Debugging
- ● Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
- ● Ability to evaluate multiple approaches and implement optimal solutions

- ● Familiarity with at least one mobile automation framework: XCUITest, Espresso, or Appium
- ● Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
- ● Working knowledge of ADB (Android Debug Bridge) commands
- ● Comfort with basic Linux commands
- ● Understanding of APIs and how to work with them
- ● Shell scripting experience is a plusCommunication

- ● This is not a role for someone seeking a strictly fixed-hours engagementAvailability Beyond Standard HoursThis is an onsite support role for a mission-critical platform. Flexibility beyond standard working hours is required in exceptional situations.
● Standard working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, subject to change based on business needs. However, the nature of this role requires availability beyond those hours when the situation demands it.
○ Examples: deployments, device maintenance activities, training sessions.
- ● In the event of a device lab outage or critical issue outside working hours, you areexpected to be reachable and, if the issue cannot be resolved remotely, willing to travelto the customer's office to resolve it.
- ● Emergency situations will be infrequent; however, prompt response is expected whenthey arise.
- ● As the team grows, the role may transition to a shift-based model to ensure broadercoverage.Leave Policy
- ● Leave requests are subject to prior approval and confirmation of support coverage — at least one team member must be available at all times to handle device lab operations.
- ● Unplanned or emergency leaves must be communicated immediately so that alternatesupport coverage can be arranged without disruption to operations.
- ● The customer's holidays do not apply to this role. The device lab is expected to remainoperational regardless of the customer's holiday calendar, and support coverage mustbe ensured on those days.
- ● You will accrue 2 days of paid leave for every month worked.Experience & Education
● Freshers with relevant technical skills and an interest in product support for web or mobile applications are welcome to apply. A Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech/BS/MS) is preferred but not mandatory.
Location & Schedule
● Location: Customer office in Bengaluru, Karnataka (on-site)
- ● Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (standard; subject to change based on business needs).
- ● This role is tied to the customer's office location. If the customer relocates their office, the candidate will be expected to report to the new location as part of the role's on-site requirements.Compensation & BenefitsProbation Period (Months 1–3)
- ● Monthly salary: Rs. 20,000
- ● End of probation bonus: Rs. 15,000 paid alongside Month 3 salary, subject to asatisfactory performance review.
- ● Candidates who do not meet the required performance standards during the probationperiod may not be confirmed for continued employment.Post-Probation — Full-Time EmploymentCandidates who demonstrate strong performance during the probation period will be confirmed as permanent employees with the following:
- ● Monthly compensation: INR 30,000
