Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials for our ELV and Fire & Safety projects. The ideal candidate should have relevant procurement experience, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for ELV and Fire & Safety projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement activities.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams to understand material requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new vendors.
- Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Verify material specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, and discrepancies.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in ELV, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, or Fire & Safety systems.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working with ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in the ELV or Fire & Safety industry.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Kochi are encouraged to apply.
