We are looking for a Procurement Lead for a mid-level position on a consulting or permanent role basis. This role involves identifying, sourcing, and procuring various products and services required by the company at the optimal price, quality, and delivery terms.
The candidate must have experience relating to procurement in similar size or larger organization. This role reports into the CFO and on a dotted line basis to the COO.
- Capture requirements for product/service to be procured.

Act as the primary liaison to the company for procurement needs.

Understand financial and budgetary constraints for the product/service to be procured.

Research options including features, terms, preliminary pricing etc. and prepare comparative analysis for stakeholder review.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with the suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms in coordination with the executive team.

Secure firm quotes from vendor(s).

Execute the purchase process from preparing and executing purchase order to receiving to Deployment management to invoice payment.

Ensure the suppliers delivers the product/service on time, without impact to internal deliverables.

Coordinate timely payments to suppliers.

Work closely with customs and other external stakeholders in receiving and shipping products.

Ensure procurement activities comply with any regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Develop strong inventory and consumption management practices.

Ensure tight inventory tracking to ensure optimal asset utilization and asset management.

Track consumption patterns for consumables and other non-asset products.

Ensure professional and efficient inventory storage / warehousing.
- Develop planning practices, processes and policies around procurement.

Develop procurement strategies that align with overall BOT goals and objectives.

Develop forecasting and planning methodologies around high-value item purchases.

Develop regular inventory audit cycles for assets.
-
Develop reports that summarize monthly and quarterly purchases and inventory levels.
- At least 8 years of experience in the areas of procurement, inventory and/or administration.

Experience relating to procurement in similar size or larger organization.

Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.

Strong grasp of productivity tools like Google Sheets, Google Documents, and MS office tools.

Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders with a detailed process oriented approach.

Strong negotiation skills for getting a good deal for the organization.

Proactive risk and issue management.

Proficient in reporting key metrics related to procurement and inventory for measuring service levels.
- Experience managing procurement in a similar size or larger organization.
