Job Summary
LFPI is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lighting Architect / Architectural Lighting Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about architectural lighting, possess strong design and technical drafting skills, and be capable of developing innovative lighting solutions for hospitality, residential, commercial, landscape, façade, and public projects.
The candidate should be able to transform architectural concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting designs while coordinating effectively with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural lighting concepts for various project types.
- Prepare lighting layout drawings and lighting design documentation.
- Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare lighting plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), switching layouts, and circuit layouts.
- Develop lighting fixture schedules and luminaire specifications.
- Perform lux level calculations and lighting analysis.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and clients.
- Review architectural drawings and integrate lighting designs accordingly.
- Assist in site visits, design coordination meetings, and project reviews.
- Revise drawings based on client and consultant comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of architectural lighting design principles.
- Excellent AutoCAD 2D drafting skills.
- Ability to prepare professional construction drawings.
- Strong drafting and detailing skills.
- Good knowledge of architectural drawings and construction details.
- Understanding of lighting fixtures, beam angles, colour temperatures, CRI, and lighting control concepts.
- Ability to read architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in architectural lighting design, architecture, interior design, or building services is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD 2D drafting, technical drawing, and design skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
