1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Review general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
- Review and finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, and cash flow.
- Ensure proper accounting of revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and provisions.
- Review reconciliation of bank, customer, vendor, transporter, and other operational accounts.
2. Logistics & Transportation Accounting
- Review transporter bills, freight expenses, trip expenses, diesel/fuel expenses, toll charges, maintenance expenses, and other vehicle-related costs.
- Monitor trip-wise profitability and transportation cost.
- Review trip settlements and ensure proper supporting documentation.
- Analyze vehicle-wise, route-wise, and customer-wise revenue and expenses.
- Identify cost leakages, discrepancies, and unusual expenses.
- Support management in improving cost control and operational profitability.
3. GST & Indirect Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate GST compliance and filing.
- Review GST workings, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and annual return-related requirements.
- Monitor and reconcile Input Tax Credit with books and GST records.
- Review GST applicability, RCM, e-invoicing and e-way bill-related matters as applicable.
- Resolve GST discrepancies and coordinate with vendors/customers wherever required.
- Handle GST notices, assessments, audits, and departmental communications.
4. Income Tax & TDS
- Ensure timely compliance with Income Tax and TDS requirements.
- Review TDS calculations, payments, returns, and certificates.
- Coordinate for preparation and filing of income tax returns.
- Assist in tax planning and tax provisioning.
- Handle income-tax notices, assessments, submissions, and related documentation.
- Keep management updated on important changes in applicable tax laws.
5. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, tax, and other auditors.
- Ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Review financial records and identify accounting or compliance discrepancies.
- Ensure proper implementation of accounting policies and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors for timely completion of annual audits.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure corrective actions.
6. Financial Planning & MIS
- Prepare monthly and periodic MIS reports for management.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial analysis.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational costs.
- Prepare management reports highlighting financial risks, variances, and opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for business decisions.
7. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and approval processes.
- Monitor financial transactions to prevent errors, fraud, and revenue leakage.
- Review authorization and supporting documentation for major expenses.
- Conduct periodic checks of cash, inventory, fixed assets, and operational expenses.
- Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend corrective measures.
8. Team Management
- Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
- Review the team's work for accuracy and completeness.
- Train team members on accounting procedures, taxation, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with operations, HR, procurement, and management for finance-related matters.
9. Management Support
- Provide accurate financial information and analysis to management.
- Support management in business planning, expansion, investment, and cost-control decisions.
- Evaluate financial implications of new projects, contracts, customers, and business arrangements.
- Provide advice on taxation, accounting, compliance, and financial matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and business information.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
