Job Description – Deputy Manager: Strategic Initiatives (Direct Sales Force)
The Deputy Manager – Strategic Initiatives will drive key business growth levers within the Direct Sales Force (DSF) by implementing new business models, enabling data-driven decision-making, and improving operational efficiencies. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical capabilities, and execution agility.
1.New Business Models Scale-Up
Objective: Improve penetration and expand customer base while enhancing digital efficiency
Collaborate with AI and Digital teams to identify efficiency gaps
Drive initiatives for improving platform adoption and productivity
Track and improve penetration metrics across channels
Focus on customer acquisition and digital funnel optimization
2. Data Enablement & Business Analytics
Objective: Strengthen data-backed decision making and field support
Coordinate with IT and BPMA teams to ensure availability of accurate MIS and data systems
Publish and maintain accurate daily business reports
Conduct data analysis for new models and business requirements
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for performance gaps
Identify discrepancies in reporting and ensure timely resolution
Provide analytical support to field teams and leadership
3. DSF Business Efficiency Enhancement
Objective: Improve overall DSF productivity and business delivery
Monitor DSF performance metrics and identify improvement areas
Collaborate across teams for execution of initiatives
Conduct weekly business performance reviews
Drive achievement of DSF business plan targets
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Increase in customer penetration and base expansion
Improvement in digital adoption and efficiency metrics
Accuracy and timeliness of business MIS reports
DSF business plan achievement
Reduction in process gaps and operational inefficiencies
Advance Excel, Power BI, Written English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
