Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Sales Engineer to drive business development for our coating, sealant dispensing, and surface preparation solutions in the Pune region. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical-sales capability, proven industrial sales experience, and the ability to engage with OEMs, integrators, and end users. This position includes responsibility for opportunity generation, technical presentations, proposal building, and supporting order closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities with automotive OEMs, Tier-1
suppliers, integrators, fabrication units, and engineering industries.
- Promote VR Coatings’ portfolio of airless spray, sealant dispensing, metering/mixing, and surface treatment equipment.
- Conduct detailed customer requirement mapping and recommend technically suitable solutions.
- Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and coordinate system trials.
- Prepare techno-commercial offers, follow up strategically, and support negotiation and order finalisation.
- Work closely with the Pune HQ teams for application engineering, service coordination, and order processing.
- Develop and manage key accounts with long-term engagement plans.
- Mentor junior sales engineers and support dealer partners in the region.
- Maintain accurate reporting of visits, funnel updates, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends in coating, sealant, and automated dispensing
applications.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related branches).
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial equipment sales (painting, coating, dispensing,
automation, fluid handling preferred).
- Strong understanding of mechanical/fluid systems and industrial applications.
- Experience managing medium–large accounts and project-oriented sales cycles.
- Good communication (Should be able to communicate in English, Hindi & Tamil), negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.
- Willing to travel within the assigned region.

Pay: ₹400,000.06 - ₹904,337.14 per year
