REQUIRED: VACUUM SINTERING FURNACE OPERATOR
We are looking for experienced Vacuum Sintering Furnace Operators having practical knowledge of operating and maintaining vacuum sintering furnaces.
Candidate Requirements:
The candidate should have complete knowledge of:
- Furnace controls and operation
- Vacuum furnace chamber handling
- Basic maintenance activities whenever required
- Process monitoring and troubleshooting
1. Furnace Preparation
- Check furnace condition, vacuum system, pumps, cooling system, and gas supply
- Cleaning of furnace chamber and fixtures
- Ensure proper loading arrangement before starting the cycle
2. Component Loading
- Loading of powder metal parts / green compact components into graphite trays and fixtures
- Maintain correct orientation and spacing
- Verify part identification and batch details
3. Program Setting & Furnace Operation
Candidate should have knowledge of setting and operating:
- Temperature cycles
- Heating rates
- Holding time
- Vacuum levels
- Gas pressure (Argon / Nitrogen / Hydrogen as per process requirement)
- Cooling cycles
- Start, operate, and monitor automatic sintering cycles
4. Process Monitoring
Monitor and control:
- Vacuum level
- Temperature graphs
- Gas flow
- Pressure parameters
- Alarm conditions
Take corrective action during abnormal furnace conditions.
5. Quality Control Checks
Knowledge of checking:
- Density
- Hardness
- Dimensions
- Surface condition
Maintain:
- Production records
- Furnace logs
- Process documentation
6. Unloading & Handling
- Safely remove sintered components after cooling
- Prevent contamination and damage
- Send components for inspection
7. Basic Furnace Maintenance
Candidate should have knowledge of checking:
- Vacuum leaks
- Heating elements
- Thermocouples
- Vacuum pumps
- Graphite fixtures
Report maintenance issues and coordinate for corrective action.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates who have worked in:
- Vacuum sintering furnace
- Vacuum hardening furnace
- Powder metallurgy industry
- Any industry using vacuum furnace technology

Salary:
Salary will be decided based on candidate experience and skills during the interview.
