Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities and ensure that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, good knowledge of production processes, and the ability to manage a production team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the given timelines.
- Monitor production processes and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain product quality and coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve issues.
- Monitor machine utilization, material availability, and production efficiency.
- Identify and resolve production-related problems and delays.
- Reduce production wastage, rejection, and downtime.
- Maintain daily production reports and records.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Train, guide, and motivate production workers.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of production staff.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety standards.
- Report production performance, issues, and requirements to management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Experience in handling and supervising production teams.
- Good knowledge of production processes and workflow management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and production reporting.
- Strong focus on productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.
