Job Summary
We are seeking an Android Developer who is passionate about mobile application development and enjoys creating high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with Android technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Build advanced applications for the Android platform using best coding practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver new features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Perform unit testing to ensure application reliability, usability, and performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Android application development.
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integration.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of Material Design principles and Android UI guidelines.
- Familiarity with app architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
- Experience with Firebase services is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in publishing Android applications on the Google Play Store.
- Knowledge of mobile application security best practices.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components, Room Database, LiveData, ViewModel, and Coroutines is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
