Position Summary
The Store Executive will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and
inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, consumables,
and finished goods at the Agro commodity processing plant. The role ensures accurate
inventory records, proper material handling, timely availability of materials for production,
and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations Management
Manage day-to-day store activities, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch
of materials.
Ensure proper identification, segregation, and storage of inventory items.
Maintain organized and efficient warehouse operations.
Monitor stock levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability for plant
operations.
Follow inventory management practices wherever applicable.
Raw Material Management
Coordinate receipt and unloading of Agro commodities and raw materials.
Verify quantity and condition of incoming materials against purchase orders and
delivery documents.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent losses, contamination, or deterioration.
Maintain accurate stock records of all raw materials.
Packaging Material Management
Receive, inspect, and issue packaging materials to production as per approved
requisitions.
Monitor packaging material consumption and stock levels.
Procurement for replenishment planning.
Engineering Spares & Consumables Management
Maintain inventory of machinery spares, maintenance consumables, and operational
supplies.
Ensure availability of critical spares to minimize production downtime.
Monitor stock movement and reorder requirements.
Maintain spare parts history and consumption records.
Inventory Control & Record Keeping
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and physical registers.
Record all inward and outward material transactions promptly.
Conduct daily stock verification and periodic cycle counts.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips, Stock Registers, and
related documents.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all store transactions.
Support internal and external audits.
Follow company SOPs and inventory control procedures.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, maintenance, and finance
departments.
Ensure timely issuance of materials to support production schedules.
Communicate stock shortages and replenishment requirements proactively.
Support management with inventory reports and analysis.
Warehouse Safety & Housekeeping
Ensure cleanliness and organization of store and warehouse areas.
Maintain safe storage practices for all materials.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
Ensure proper handling equipment and storage systems are utilized.
Finished Goods Coordination
Maintain records of finished goods inventory.
Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for material movement.
Support loading and dispatch activities as required.
Ensure accurate stock reconciliation of finished goods.
Educational Qualification
Graduate in Commerce, Science, Agriculture, Business Administration, or related
discipline.
Diploma in Materials Management, Store Management, or Supply Chain
Management preferred.
Knowledge of Computer systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
Familiarity with Agro commodities, packaging materials, and engineering spares.
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Good numerical and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain inventory discipline.
