Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MD Pathologist to join our pathology department. The candidate will be responsible for providing accurate diagnostic reporting, supervising laboratory operations, and supporting clinicians in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and interpret laboratory investigations and pathology specimens.
- Report Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, and related diagnostic tests as applicable.
- Ensure timely and accurate pathology reporting.
- Collaborate with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams for patient management.
- Maintain laboratory quality standards, NABL/NABH compliance, and documentation.
- Supervise laboratory personnel and ensure adherence to protocols and safety guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance and departmental improvement activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MBBS with MD in Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
