We are looking for an experienced Embedded Validation & Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C
programming, unit testing, and test automation. The role involves testing auto-generated C code,
performing unit and integration testing, and automating validation using Robot Framework in a Linux/QNX environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Unit Testing & Code Validation
Perform unit testing of C/C++ code (including auto-generated code)
Develop test cases using Cantata / VectorCAST or similar tools
Ensure code coverage (statement, branch, and MC/DC)
Perform mocking/stubbing of dependencies
Validate functionality based on detailed design documents (SDD/LLD)
2. Automation using Robot Framework
Design and develop automation scripts using Robot Framework
Integrate Robot Framework with Python libraries and system APIs
Automate test execution, validation, and reporting
Debug failures using logs and test reports
Mandatory Skills
Strong C programming (pointers, memory, bit manipulation)
Experience in Unit Testing tools (Cantata / VectorCAST / equivalent)
Solid understanding of:
Code coverage (Statement, Branch, MC/DC)
Test design techniques
Working knowledge of Linux or QNX
Experience in integration testing with hardware
Good to Have Skills
Knowledge of code generation tools (e.g., Simulink, AUTOSAR)
Experience with Python scripting
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Familiarity with debugging tools (GDB, logs, trace tools)
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
