Senior Engineer – Solar Projects
Location: Chennai
Experience: 4–7 years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop and C&I solar projects.
- Conduct site surveys and verify layouts, SLDs, BOQ, string design, cable sizing, earthing and protection systems.
- Plan manpower, materials, project schedules and daily site activities.
- Supervise engineers, technicians, subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure quality, safety and compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, suppliers and utility authorities.
- Handle testing, commissioning, synchronisation and project handover.
- Submit daily progress reports, material reconciliation, test reports and as-built documents.
- Control project delays, rework, material wastage and execution costs.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, AutoCAD drawings, LT panels, inverters, DC/AC cabling, earthing, testing instruments, net metering and CEIG procedures.
Candidates must be willing to travel and work at project sites.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
