Key ResponsibilitiesFire Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with fire safety norms, statutory regulations, and institutional safety policies.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, hydrant systems, smoke detectors, fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency exits.
- Coordinate annual maintenance/testing of all firefighting systems.
- Maintain updated fire safety records and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with Fire Department and statutory authorities for inspections and approvals.
Safety & Risk Management
- Conduct workplace safety inspections across hospital, laboratories, hostels, academic blocks, kitchens, and engineering areas.
- Identify fire hazards and unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor implementation of PPE usage and safety protocols.
- Investigate fire/safety incidents and prepare incident reports.
Emergency Preparedness
- Organize mock fire drills and evacuation exercises periodically.
- Prepare emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
- Train staff, students, security personnel, hostel wardens, and housekeeping teams on fire safety measures.
- Coordinate emergency response during fire or disaster situations.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct fire safety induction training for new employees.
- Organize awareness sessions on:
- Fire prevention
- Electrical safety
- Chemical safety
- Biomedical waste safety
- Emergency evacuation
- Display safety signages and emergency instructions across campus.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain:
- Fire audit reports
- Equipment maintenance logs
- Mock drill records
- Incident registers
- Safety training attendance
- Ensure validity of:
- Fire NOC
- Fire equipment AMC
- Safety certifications
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,705.12 per month
