Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead the migration of legacy Tosca automation scripts to modern Playwright C# framework. This mid-level role requires strong expertise in API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile testing with the ability to own specific components of the migration. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality automated test solutions, mentor junior team members, and collaborate effectively with US-based clients. This position requires solid communication skills and availability across US time zones for meetings and synchronous collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of assigned Tosca test scripts to Playwright C# framework with technical ownership
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites for API, functional, and mobile applications
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and testing
- Implement mobile automation testing strategies across various devices using device clouds
- Collaborate with US-based clients, providing technical updates, test reports, and solutions guidance
- Conduct comprehensive API testing and design robust API test frameworks
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code reviews for test automation
- Contribute to quality metrics, test coverage reports, and automation effectiveness analysis
- Identify and propose improvements to test automation processes and tools
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of hands-on QA automation experience with proven project delivery
- Demonstrated experience migrating test automation between frameworks or tools
- Strong expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
- Solid hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines)
- Proven expertise in mobile automation testing and device cloud platforms
- Strong working experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation
- Solid proficiency in C# programming language
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience working with US-based clients
- Availability to work during US business hours overlap for meetings and collaboration (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Playwright framework in production environments
- Experience migrating from Tosca specifically
- Experience with Guidewire or DuckCreek platform testing
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Certification in QA automation (ISTQB, etc.)

Work Arrangement
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Work Mode: Hybrid (flexible schedule with requirement to be available during US overlap hours)
- Time Zone Coverage: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (US business hours overlap for daily standups, client calls, and collaboration
Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
