Responsibilities
- Experimentation: Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative experiments by preparing solutions, reagents, and samples.
- Analysis: Study the chemical composition, structure, and physical properties of organic and inorganic substances.
- Testing: Perform quality control (QC) and safety tests on raw materials and finished products to meet regulatory and industry standards.
- Reporting: Write detailed technical reports on test outcomes, methodology, and research findings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as chromatographs and spectrophotometers.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers, technicians, and other scientists to optimize manufacturing processes and product development. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Qualifications
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in analytical, organic, or inorganic chemistry with hands-on laboratory experience.
