Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise the ongoing construction of a machine shop in the Macche area of Belgaum. The successful candidate will oversee the project through completion, ensuring that all civil works and infrastructure facilities are delivered on schedule and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise day-to-day construction activities and drive timely completion of the machine shop and all associated infrastructure.
· Monitor workmanship, materials, progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and construction specifications.
· Coordinate closely with contractors, civil teams, electrical teams, fabricators, Painter, Furniture vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
· Review completed work, verify site measurements and quantities, and validate contractor bills against actual progress.
· Identify delays, deviations, and site issues, and initiate corrective action promptly.
· Maintain accurate site records and provide the owner with regular progress updates until final completion and handover.
· Manage additional small building and civil work across the company’s multiple units in Belgaum, as required.
Candidate Requirements
· Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
· 10–15 years of experience in building and structural construction, including site supervision, coordination, and project monitoring.
· Demonstrated ability to lead construction activities independently through completion and handover.
· Strong knowledge of quantity measurement, work verification, and contractor billing.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and related construction drawings.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and sound knowledge of standard construction practices.
· Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
· Willingness and ability to manage multiple small construction projects across company units in Belgaum.
