We are seeking a motivated, professional and results-driven SAP Training, Project Simulation and Placement Assistance Counsellor to guide prospective students through the counselling, admissions and enrollment process.
Job Summary
The Counsellor will contact prospective students, understand their educational background and career objectives, explain available SAP training programs, project simulation opportunities and placement-assistance services, and guide suitable applicants through the enrollment process.
The ideal candidate will have strong educational-sales experience, excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently in a target-oriented remote environment.
This is a counselling and admissions role that combines student guidance, lead management, follow-up, enrollment support and professional customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Contact prospective students received through Facebook, website inquiries, referrals, digital campaigns and other approved marketing channels.
- Conduct counselling sessions through telephone, video calls, email and WhatsApp.
- Understand each candidate’s education, work experience, career goals and interest in SAP.
- Explain available SAP functional and technical training options.
- Explain the structure and purpose of the SAP project simulation program.
- Explain the placement-assistance services available to eligible students.
- Recommend suitable programs based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience and career goals.
- Provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, schedules, tuition fees, payment plans and program expectations.
- Guide qualified applicants through the application, registration and enrollment process.
SAP Program Guidance
- Help prospective students understand different SAP career paths.
- Explain the difference between SAP training, hands-on exercises, project simulations and real client-project experience.
- Provide approved information regarding course content, duration, delivery method and learning outcomes.
- Coordinate with trainers or academic staff when detailed technical clarification is required.
- Ensure that all program information provided to candidates is accurate and authorized.
Project Simulation Program
- Explain how project simulations provide practical exposure to SAP business processes, configuration exercises, documentation and implementation scenarios.
- Help candidates understand the expected learning activities and participation requirements.
- Clarify that project simulations are educational activities and must not be represented as paid employment or guaranteed client-project experience unless specifically authorized.
- Coordinate student onboarding into the appropriate project simulation program.
Placement Assistance Guidance
- Explain the placement-assistance process, including résumé support, interview preparation, career guidance and job-search support.
- Provide realistic and accurate information regarding employment support.
- Clearly communicate that placement assistance does not constitute a guarantee of employment, salary, interview selection or immigration outcome.
- Ensure that all representations regarding placement assistance follow approved college policies and written materials.
Lead Management
- Respond promptly to new inquiries.
- Conduct regular and structured follow-ups with prospective students.
- Maintain accurate lead records in the CRM, Google Sheets and admissions systems.
- Record all calls, counselling discussions, follow-up dates and candidate outcomes.
- Track each lead from initial inquiry through counselling, application and enrollment.
- Schedule counselling sessions, demonstrations and virtual information meetings.
- Maintain an organized follow-up calendar.
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly activity and enrollment targets.
Admissions and Administrative Responsibilities
- Collect and review required admission documents.
- Ensure that application forms are complete and accurate.
- Maintain student records and application files.
- Update master spreadsheets, CRM records and admissions databases.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly admissions and enrollment reports.
- Coordinate with academic, finance and administrative teams.
- Assist students with registration, payment and onboarding procedures.
- Escalate unusual cases, complaints, refund requests or compliance concerns to management.
Student Support
- Answer questions regarding program structure, schedules, tuition fees, payment options and learning expectations.
- Support students throughout the admissions and onboarding process.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication before and after enrollment.
- Provide timely follow-up and exceptional customer service.
- Help students understand the next steps after enrollment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve student questions and concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or post-secondary education required.
- Minimum three years of experience in educational sales, admissions counselling, student recruitment or a related field.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting regular follow-ups.
- Ability to work with monthly enrollment and conversion targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, WhatsApp and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable computer, professional headset and high-speed internet connection.
- Willingness and ability to work according to Toronto business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with a private career college or professional-training organization.
- Experience counselling students for SAP, ERP, IT, cloud or technology-training programs.
- Basic understanding of SAP functional and technical modules.
- Knowledge of SAP career paths and enterprise business processes.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and simulation programs.
- Experience explaining placement-assistance or career-support services.
- Knowledge of the Canadian education and training environment.
- Experience managing Facebook, website and digital-marketing leads.
- Strong knowledge of Google Sheets and CRM lead-management processes.
Performance Metrics
Performance will be measured using clear and transparent indicators, including:
- Response time to new inquiries.
- Number of meaningful counselling sessions conducted.

- Accuracy of CRM and admissions records.
- Appointment attendance rate.
- Application completion rate.

- Compliance with approved counselling and admissions practices.
Ethical Counselling Requirements
The Counsellor must provide accurate, transparent and responsible information at all times.
The Counsellor must not:
- Guarantee employment, interviews, salaries, promotions or career outcomes.
- Guarantee SAP certification or examination success.
- Present project simulation as paid employment or actual client-project experience unless expressly authorized.
- Guarantee immigration, visa, work-permit or permanent-residency outcomes.
- Provide unauthorized discounts, payment commitments or refund assurances.
- Misrepresent program approvals, credentials, duration, fees or learning outcomes.
- Pressure candidates into enrolling in an unsuitable program.
- Use unapproved marketing claims or make verbal commitments outside official college policies.
All counselling must follow approved program information, fee schedules, scripts and written policies.
