Hiring: Design Manager Architecture | Mumbai
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our Architecture team in Mumbai. If you are passionate about designing large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments, enjoy leading high-performing teams, and love working closely with clients, we'd love to connect with you.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of multiple commercial and mixed-use projects from concept to completion.
- Manage and mentor a team of Architects, Senior Architects, and Technicians.
- Develop innovative design solutions that align with client requirements, project goals, and industry standards.
- Prepare and review schematic designs, design development, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and provide design support during execution.
- Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to new business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- B.Arch (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- 15–18 years of experience in architectural design and consultancy.
- Strong experience in commercial and mixed-use projects.
- Experience leading teams of 8–10 or more architects/design professionals.
- Hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office (Revit and Photoshop are a plus).
- Good understanding of design development, construction documentation, consultant coordination, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and client management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Successfully delivered at least two large-scale projects (approximately 1 million sq. ft. or more) from concept to completion.
- Experience working with leading developers such as Prestige, Brigade, Embassy, RMZ, DLF, Lodha, Godrej Properties, K Raheja, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
