Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to assemble, fit, and install sheet metal components and fabricated parts as per engineering drawings and production requirements. The candidate should have experience in sheet metal fabrication, mechanical fitting, drilling, tapping, and assembly operations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Assemble sheet metal components, fabricated parts, frames, panels, and enclosures.
- Perform fitting activities such as drilling, tapping, grinding, riveting, and fastening.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures effectively.
- Align and fit components accurately according to dimensions and tolerances.
- Carry out minor rectification and adjustment works during assembly.
- Inspect assembled products for quality, fitment, and finishing.
- Coordinate with welding, laser cutting, bending, and quality departments.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Follow company safety procedures and use PPE properly.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection and rework.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to read fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Experience in using measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, measuring tape, and try square.
- Basic knowledge of drilling, tapping, and fastening methods.
- Good understanding of tolerances and fitments.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
