- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in engineering design and analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience in:
- System Engineering
- Piping Engineering
- Package Engineering
Position Objective
The Design Engineer / Package Engineer will be responsible for the detailed engineering, design, and technical support of rotating equipment packages and associated systems while ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPackage & System Engineering
- Perform detailed engineering of:
- Compressor Packages (API 617 / API 618)
- Lube Oil Systems (API 614)
- Seal Gas Systems (API 692)
- Chiller Plants
- Heat Exchangers
- Pressure Vessels
- Separators
- Renewable Energy Systems
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications and project requirements.
Codes & Standards Compliance
- Apply and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and codes, including:
- ASME
- API
- NR13
- U Stamp Requirements
- PED (Pressure Equipment Directive)
- Other relevant international standards
Quality & Inspection Engineering
- Review inspection and test requirements for package systems.
- Verify test certificates and quality documentation of package components.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
Documentation & Testing
- Prepare and review:
- Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
- Pre-Inspection Documentation
- Post-Inspection Documentation
- Quality Records and Compliance Reports
- Generate ITPs for:
- Package Systems
- Lube Oil Systems
- Seal Gas Systems
- Heat Exchangers
- Pressure Vessels
- Separators
Client & Project Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPI)
- EPC Contractors
- Engineering Consultants
- Client Representatives
- Work with organizations such as EIL and other major EPC companies for engineering approvals and inspections.
Engineering Support
- Provide technical and engineering support to various business divisions.
- Support domestic and multinational clients throughout project execution, inspection, testing, and documentation activities.
