Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer (Fresher) with basic knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. The candidate will support the design and development team in creating engineering drawings, models, and documentation while gaining practical industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings with appropriate dimensions and tolerances.
- Assist senior engineers in product design, development, and documentation.
- Update design revisions and maintain engineering records.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Follow company design standards and engineering best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience.
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks (3D Modeling & 2D Drafting).
- Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and GD&T is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
