Job Summary :
A Maintenance Fitter is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth plant or production operations.
Required Skills :
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of pumps, bearings, seals, valves, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- ITI in Fitter / Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
