Job Summary
The Junior Hydraulics Engineer assists senior engineers in maintaining, and improving hydraulic systems. The role involves preparing technical documentation, conducting inspections, troubleshooting hydraulic equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare hydraulic schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of hydraulic equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and piping systems.
- Analyse hydraulic system performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct inspections to identify leaks, pressure issues, or component failures.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
- Stay updated on hydraulic technologies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hydraulic systems or industrial maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic components and fluid power principles.
- Understanding of hydraulic circuit diagrams and symbols.
