Unipath Lab is a growing diagnostic laboratory committed to delivering accurate, timely, and patient-focused diagnostic services. We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to join our Vadodara team.
Job Summary
The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood and other samples from patients at laboratory centers, hospitals, camps, and home visits while ensuring patient comfort, sample accuracy, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.
- Collect samples from patients at lab centers and home collection visits.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, packaging, and transportation of samples.
- Maintain all patient records and sample collection documentation accurately.
- Follow infection control, hygiene, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Coordinate with laboratory and logistics teams for timely processing of samples.
- Handle patients professionally and provide a comfortable collection experience.
- Maintain collection equipment and ensure availability of required consumables.
- Follow all SOPs and quality standards of the laboratory.
- Support health camps and corporate collection activities when required.
Eligibility Criteria
- DMLT / BMLT / Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in diagnostic laboratories or hospitals.
- Experience in home sample collection will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
- Must be willing to travel locally within Vadodara for sample collection.
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
