Production Manager – Cocopeat Manufacturing
Job Overview
M2Balu Export is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead our cocopeat manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing daily production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in manufacturing operations, and the ability to manage people, machinery, and production targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily production activities to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Manage production teams and ensure smooth factory operations.
- Monitor production output, efficiency, and machine utilization.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor raw material availability and production planning.
- Minimize production downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company policies.
- Identify process improvements to reduce waste and manufacturing costs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience managing production teams is preferred.
- Experience in the cocopeat, coir, agriculture, or export manufacturing industry is an advantage.
