STJ’s Engineers is seeking an experienced CAM Centre Trainer to train students and
trainees in CAD/CAM software and CNC machining practices. The ideal candidate should
possess strong theoretical knowledge, practical industry expertise, and excellent teaching
skills to prepare trainees for careers in the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom training sessions on various CNC machining operations,
including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Drilling, Tapping, and other machining
processes.
- Deliver comprehensive theoretical sessions on G-Codes, M-Codes, CNC
programming fundamentals, machining cycles, tooling, cutting parameters,
and CNC machine operations.
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions in Mastercam, AutoCAD, and
SolidWorks.
- Deliver both theoretical and hands-on training in CAD/CAM concepts, CNC
programming, machining operations, and manufacturing processes.
- Train candidates in creating 2D drawings, 3D models, CAM toolpaths, and CNC
programs.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Guide trainees in understanding engineering drawings, GD&T, machining practices,
and production workflows.
- Evaluate trainee performance through theory tests, practical assessments, and
projects.
- Maintain training records and ensure the training lab is well organized.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD/CAM technologies and industry practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2–3 years of prior experience as a CAD/CAM Trainer is mandatory.
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a
related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings,
CNC machining, and CAD/CAM concepts.
- Hands-on proficiency in Mastercam, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of CNC Milling and Turning operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for mentoring and developing future manufacturing professionals.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in CNC machine programming and setup.
- Knowledge of tooling selection, machining parameters, and process optimization.
- Ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Shift
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
