About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Engineer L3 to design, implement, and manage enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, Fortinet security solutions, network troubleshooting, and enterprise security management. This role will serve as the L3 escalation point for critical network and security incidents while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and network security devices.
Monitor network performance, optimize bandwidth utilization, and ensure maximum uptime.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for complex network and security incidents.
Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and access control policies.
Conduct security audits, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance activities.
Manage and maintain ManageEngine tools and monitoring platforms.
Act as the L3 escalation point for network and security-related issues.
Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal teams for upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Preferred Educational Qualification & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
CCNA and/or CCNP certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching technologies.
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Subnetting, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VPN technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points, Aruba, and TP-Link solutions.
Expertise in Fortinet firewall administration and security management.
Knowledge of IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, endpoint security, and network security frameworks.
Experience with ManageEngine tools and network monitoring solutions.
Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor L1 and L2 support teams.
