A Junior Site Engineer (Piling) assists in the execution of pile foundation works such as bored cast-in-situ piles or driven piles, ensuring quality, safety, and progress at site.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in pile foundation activities (bored piles, driven piles, rotary piling)
- Supervise pile marking, layout, and positioning as per drawings
- Monitor drilling depth, bore diameter, and verticality
- Ensure proper reinforcement cage placement and alignment
- Check concreting process (tremie method, slump, continuous pour)
- Maintain pile records (depth, concrete quantity, time log)
- Coordinate with machine operators, rig team, and labour
- Ensure quality control as per project specifications
- Monitor material usage (cement, steel, bentonite, etc.)
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPR)
- Support in pile load test coordination
- Identify and report site issues (collapse, deviation, obstruction)
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 0–2 years experience (freshers with piling interest can apply)
Work Location
- Project sites (may involve travel / stay at site)
