- Cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and laminates for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interiors.
- Carry out on-site installation of modular furniture and fittings.
- Interpret technical drawings and design specifications to execute projects accurately.
- Ensure smooth finishing, polishing, and detailing of furniture and fixtures.
- Operate carpentry tools and machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to project timelines.
- Work closely with designers, supervisors, and other team members to deliver projects successfully.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Carpentry Expertise: Strong knowledge of woodworking, modular furniture assembly, and interior carpentry.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machines.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in measurements, cutting, and finishing.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot installation or fitting issues on-site.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety standards and tool handling precautions.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass (preferred).
- Certification or training in carpentry or woodworking is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, or interior carpentry works.
