Job Description - Sales Officer General Trade (Snacks FMCG)
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Expand distribution by adding new GT outlets and improving beat coverage.
- Manage distributor operations including stock planning, order taking, claims, and market returns.
- Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and display across retail outlets.
- Execute trade promotions, schemes, and new product launches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributor teams.
- Track competitor activities such as pricing, `schemes, and new launches.
- Submit daily reports, beat performance, and market insights through sales apps or Excel.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any stream.
- 1 to 4 years of General Trade sales experience in Beverages.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and market relationship skills.
- Good understanding of GT distribution, routing, and merchandising.
- Target-driven and comfortable with daily fieldwork.

- Sales target achievement
- Outlet coverage & productive calls
- Distributor performance
- Execution/visibility score
- Reduction of OOS (out-of-stock)
