Maintenance Fitter / Welder
Location: Narendrapur, Ramchandrapur, South Kolkata
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter/Welder to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in welding, fitting, fabrication, and gas cutting, with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Carry out welding, fabrication, fitting, and gas cutting work.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
- Operate welding and gas cutting equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment.
- Follow safety standards and maintain maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the production team to minimize machine downtime.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Welder, or a relevant trade preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in maintenance fitting and welding.
- Hands-on experience in Arc Welding, Gas Cutting, Fabrication, and Mechanical Maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Location
Candidates residing in South Kolkata (Narendrapur, Garia, Sonarpur, Baruipur, Jadavpur, Tollygunge, Bansdroni, or nearby areas) will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
