DRIEMS University is seeking dynamic, qualified, and dedicated academic professionals in the field of Physiotherapy to join the School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences. The candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting clinical demonstrations, mentoring research projects, and contributing to academic administration in alignment with National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) standards.
Eligibility & Minimum Criteria (As per NCAHP Guidelines & University Norms)
1- Tutor / Demonstrator
- Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching/clinical experience.
2- Assistant Professor
- Qualification: Master’s in Physiotherapy (MPT) with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Publications: Minimum 2 research publications in total as specified by regulatory standards.
3- Associate Professor
- Qualification: Master’s in Physiotherapy (MPT) and Ph.D. (Mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years total experience as Assistant Professor, preferably including at least 2 years as Senior Assistant Professor.
- Publications & Presentations: 3 publications as First Author and 2 conference presentations as Senior Assistant Professor.
4- Professor
- Qualification: Master’s in Physiotherapy (MPT) and Ph.D. (Mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 13 years total experience, including 5 years as Associate Professor.
- Publications & Presentations: 3 publications as First Author and 3 conference presentations as Associate Professor.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction: Deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and clinical training to students enrolled in Physiotherapy programs.
- Curriculum & Practical Setup: Plan coursework, lab exercises, and modern clinical training protocols aligned with current healthcare standards.
- Research & Publications: Conduct high-quality academic research, guide student dissertations, and publish papers in indexed, peer-reviewed journals.
- Student Mentorship: Supervise clinical practice, provide academic counseling, and evaluate student progress.
- Institutional Service: Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, accreditation activities, and extracurricular programs.
