We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager Intern to join our marketing team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about social media, content creation, branding, and digital marketing. You will assist in planning, creating, and managing engaging content across multiple social media platforms while gaining hands-on industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing social media strategies.
- Create and schedule engaging posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
- Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages when required.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and trending topics.
- Collaborate with the design and content teams to develop creative campaigns.
- Track social media performance and prepare basic analytics reports.
- Help grow brand awareness and audience engagement through organic marketing efforts.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their features.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing personal, academic, or business social media accounts.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
- Understanding of content marketing and digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software is an advantage.
