Intern Journalist
We are looking for a curious, enthusiastic, and aspiring Intern Journalist to join our digital newsroom. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in digital journalism, news research, reporting, and content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant and trending news stories.
- Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles for our website.
- Assist in preparing content for social media platforms.
- Monitor breaking news, industry updates, and emerging trends.
- Conduct online research and verify information from reliable sources.
- Assist senior journalists and editors with story development.
- Prepare headlines, captions, and short-form digital content.
- Proofread and edit content before publication.
- Cover topics across areas such as technology, automobiles, real estate, travel, lifestyle, and business.
Requirements
- Strong interest in journalism, news, and digital media.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Good research and fact-checking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to write concise and engaging content.
- Knowledge of social media platforms is an advantage.
- Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or related students/graduates are preferred.
