Job Title: Shadow Teacher (Special Needs Support)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to provide one-on-one support to a student with special needs in a mainstream classroom. The ideal candidate will assist the student academically, socially, and behaviorally to ensure a positive and inclusive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized academic support during classroom sessions
- Help the student understand and complete assignments
- Assist in maintaining focus and following classroom instructions
- Support the student in managing behavior and emotions
- Encourage social interaction and participation in group activities
- Collaborate with class teachers, parents, and therapists
- Monitor and report on the student’s progress regularly
- Implement strategies based on individualized education plans (IEP), if applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience working with children, especially with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of conditions such as Autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training in special education or child development
- Experience as a shadow teacher or similar role
