Job description For Quality Engineer (Manager) at Safex Fire Services for PALGHAR
Safex Fire Services Ltd. is a 50 year old business well established in the field of Fire Safety. We manufacture fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.
We are seeking for candidate who will be responsible for establishing the QC Department and designing its processes, with a strong focus on critical quality factors. Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests on products using gauges and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Manage and execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new and existing products.
- Analyze and interpret measurement data to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or defects, and work with production teams to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, measurements, and PPAP documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor production staff on quality control processes, the proper use of gauges, and PPAP requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Qualification:
- B.Tech / BE (any Specialization, Mechanical preffered)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineer
Experience with Tier 1 automotive suppliers is highly preferred.
Salary:
CTC 4-6 LPA (depending on candidate)
(Local train pass shall be provided. Above CTC includes EPF, paid leaves and annual bonus)
Office timings:
8:30 AM -5:00 PM, Monday- Sunday (except Friday).
Week Off: Friday.
