Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance for import and export shipments.
- Prepare, review, and file Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, and other customs documentation.
- Coordinate with Customs officials, port authorities, shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and transporters.
- Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, DGFT guidelines, and other government requirements.
- Classify goods under the correct HSN codes and verify applicable duties, exemptions, and notifications.
- Manage cargo examination, assessment, and out-of-charge processes.
- Liaise with clients to collect required documents and provide shipment status updates.
- Resolve customs queries, document discrepancies, and clearance-related issues.
- Monitor shipment timelines to ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and statutory compliance.
- Support customs audits and ensure all records are maintained as per regulatory requirements.
- Keep up to date with changes in customs laws, notifications, and trade compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Customs G-Card Holder .
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in customs clearance or CHA operations.
- Good knowledge of ICEGATE, EDI systems, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and customs-related software.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SEZ, FTWZ, EPCG, Advance Authorization, and other export/import schemes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
- Strong understanding of tariff classification, valuation, and customs compliance.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders for smooth cargo movement
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
