Role Overview
The Head Total Rewards will lead the organizations Total rewards strategy across a large and diverse employee population. The role requires a strategic and execution-focused leader with strong expertise in enterprise total rewards, variable pay structures, sales incentive programs, rewards governance, and large-scale Total rewards operations.
The incumbent should have prior experience managing Total rewards frameworks for organizations with massive employee strength across multiple functions and workforce segments.
Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Strategy & Design
- Design and drive enterprise-wide towards rewards strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Develop scalable total rewards frameworks across multiple employee categories including:
- Sales
- Technology
- Operations
- Marketing
- Corporate Functions
- Field Force
- Lead annual review cycles, salary benchmarking, and market competitiveness initiatives.
- Design and optimize variable pay and incentive structures across business functions.
- Develop sales incentive plans for large distributed sales teams.
Rewards Governance
- Establish robust governance frameworks for Total rewards planning and rewards administration.
- Ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance across Total rewards practices.
- Partner with leadership teams on executive Total rewards and critical talent retention initiatives.
- Drive job evaluation, grading structures, broadbanding, and job architecture initiatives.
Analytics & Transformation
- Leverage HR analytics and Total rewards data insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive digitization and automation initiatives within the Total Rewards function.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and emerging Total rewards practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Business Heads, HR Leadership, Finance, and senior leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor on Total rewards strategy, rewards optimization, and talent competitiveness.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Experience
- 1015 years of HR experience with significant exposure to Total rewards & Benefits.
- Must have managed Total rewards for large organizations with large workforce scale of employees across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
- Strong experience in enterprise Total rewards design across diverse workforce categories.
- Proven expertise in variable pay and sales incentive design.
- Experience handling Total rewards structures ranging from junior workforce levels to senior leadership pay structures.
- Strong exposure to large-scale annual Total rewards planning and governance.
