Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and refraction
- Handle and operate all essential ophthalmic instruments efficiently
- Assist ophthalmologists in diagnosis and treatment procedures
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
- Detect visual problems and refer patients when necessary
- Educate patients on eye care and lens usage
- Maintain accurate patient records
Instrument Handling (Required Skills)
Candidate should have hands-on experience in using:
- Auto Refractometer
- Slit Lamp
- Keratometer
- Tonometer
- Lensometer
- OCT & Visual Field Analyzer (preferred)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Optometry
- Minimum 1 year experience (Freshers with strong practical skills can apply)
- Good knowledge of ophthalmic equipment and procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
