Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Laravel Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance our company website and internal web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and modern web development practices. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Develop new features and improve the functionality of the Desqoo website.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications following Laravel best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- Develop and optimise database structures using MySQL.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Optimise website speed, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Manage application deployment, updates, backups, and version control using Git.
- Stay up to date with the latest Laravel ecosystem and web development technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong portfolio or examples of Laravel projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency in MySQL database design and optimisation.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with Composer and Laravel package management.
- Experience with authentication, authorisation, and web security best practices.
- Knowledge of Linux servers and web hosting environments.
- Experience with Redis, queues, caching, and scheduled jobs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Vue.js, React, or Livewire is a plus.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
