ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Purpose/Objective
The purpose of this role to present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to new prospective customers.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the End customer strategy of the terminal.
- Reengineer supply chain for End customers & provide them integrated supply chain solution.
- Increase DP World CFS/Terminal/Global Logistics volume throughput by focusing on end customers sales.
- Gather Customer Intelligence and develop customer specific solutions engaging multiple stakeholders internal & External which will retain/attract customer for the terminal and execute contracts/agreements as required.
- Prepare regular management reports and customer volume forecasts.
- Manage Credit and Collection per agreed terms.
- BCO mapping and conversion per targets assigned
- Business generated on Additional Services like DPD/DPE /Transportation/Warehousing/CFS service etc
- Credit performance of client base
- Quality and Timeliness of reports and Customer Database.
- Customer Relationship Management
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Skills and Competencies MS Office, Shipping Documentation & Procedures.
Stakeholder Internal: CCT Commercial Team
External: End customers (BCO)
Educational Qualification (min) MBA or equivalent from a reputed University
Preferred Certifications if any
Range/ Min no of years - of overall Experience required
5 – 7 years in Shipping line, Terminal Commercial, Freight forwarding
Min no of years of Industry specific experience required, if any & the industry type
Minimum 5 Years in Shipping line, Terminal Commercial, Freight forwarding in frontline sales
