he Food & Beverage Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day cafeteria and pantry operations within a corporate office environment. The role ensures high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, vendor coordination, and smooth functioning of dining services for employees and guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Supervise daily cafeteria, pantry, and dining operations.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of meals, snacks, tea/coffee, and beverages.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas.
Vendor & Staff Coordination
- Coordinate with catering vendors, housekeeping teams, and pantry staff.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Schedule and supervise cafeteria attendants, stewards, and pantry boys.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Maintain stock of food items, beverages, disposables, and pantry supplies.
- Track consumption and reduce wastage.
- Raise purchase requisitions and coordinate with procurement teams.
- Monitor cafeteria expenses within approved budgets.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular hygiene inspections.
- Ensure proper food storage and temperature control.
- Maintain records related to audits and inspections.
Customer Service
- Address employee feedback and cafeteria-related complaints.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily/monthly reports on cafeteria operations.
- Track attendance and performance of cafeteria staff.
- Maintain vendor invoices and service documentation.
