Job Overview:
Job Opening for: Pre-Owned Car Sales, This role requires a dynamic and customer-focused individual capable of handling all phases of the used car sales lifecycle, showroom operations, and administrative requirements seamlessly.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years’ experience required pre-owned car sales and management.
Candidate working in similar profile of pre-owned car sales shall only be considered.
Core Responsibilities:-
Customer Engagement and Sales Process.
Greet and assist customers from walk-in, understanding their needs and preferences for pre-owned vehicles.
Present and demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and conduct test drives.
Negotiate prices, trade-in values, and finance options, ensuring a transparent and positive customer journey.
Guide customers through the entire purchasing process, from the initial inquiry to vehicle delivery, including necessary paperwork and explaining warranties.
Ensure a smooth transition to aftersales and service departments as part of the delivery process.
Deal Closing :-
Develop and maintain a personal sales pipeline, proactively follow up with prospects and leads to close deals.
Support or lead negotiations ensuring profitable, high-satisfaction outcomes for both customers and dealership.
Complete all required documentation accurately for each sale including contracts and sales slips.
Stay updated on product changes, market trends, and competitor offerings.
Finance, Insurance, and RTO Handling:-
Provide guidance and solutions for customer finance applications and approval processes, liaising with bank or NBFC partners.
Explain insurance options, extended warranties, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Address RTO-related queries including registration, title transfer, and associated paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:-
Appraise incoming vehicles and coordinate their reconditioning and display.
Communicate with sales managers regarding inventory needs and advertising efforts.
Oversee wholesaling activities, manage delivery procedures, and ensure seamless customer service experience.
Approve paperwork for purchases and maintain documentation for finance, insurance, and RTO activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:-
Proven experience in automotive sales, preferably in the pre-owned market.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of vehicle inspection, certification, finance, insurance, and RTO processes.
Leadership capability (for managerial positions), organizational skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and retail math calculations.
Valid driver’s license.
