Job Summary
Dr. Aravinds IVF Fertility Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medicines, maintain pharmacy inventory, and ensure compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and responsibly.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Maintain proper inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and reorder medicines as required.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and inventory transactions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy preferred.
- Freshers with valid registration may also apply.
