The Academic Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of academic operations at the branch. The role involves coordinating between faculty, students, parents, and management to maintain high academic standards, monitor student performance, and support the effective delivery of academic programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Operations
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day academic activities and class schedules.
- Ensure timely execution of academic plans, lectures, tests, and doubt-solving sessions.
- Monitor attendance of students and faculty and maintain academic records.
- Facilitate smooth communication between faculty members and management.
Student Performance Management
- Track and analyze student academic performance through tests and assessments.
- Prepare performance reports and share insights with faculty and management.
- Identify students requiring academic support and coordinate remedial measures.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with students to ensure academic progress.
Parent Communication
- Act as a point of contact for parents regarding academic concerns and student performance.
- Organize Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic counseling sessions.
- Provide timely updates to parents regarding attendance, performance, and academic initiatives.
Faculty Coordination
- Support faculty in academic planning and execution.
- Ensure availability of study materials, test papers, and academic resources.
- Coordinate faculty meetings and maintain records of academic discussions and action plans.
Examination & Assessment Management
- Coordinate internal tests, mock examinations, and result processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of performance reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of examination records.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain student databases, attendance records, and academic reports.
- Generate periodic MIS reports for branch management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational academic policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Science, Commerce, Management, or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in academic coordination, educational administration, or student management.
Skills Required

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and educational management systems.

- Full-time position based at Aakash Institute, Vashi Branch.
- May require working on weekends during examinations, PTMs, admissions drives, or academic events.
