The Senior Implementation Manager Level 5 is responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of the implementation function across multiple programs and regions. This role oversees a portfolio of complex, high-value client and internal projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. The Senior Manager provides leadership to implementation teams, drives continuous improvement, and acts as a key advisor to senior stakeholders. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the implementation strategy, scaling delivery capabilities, and ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the organization.
Performance Outcomes / Accountabilities:
Ensure 100% of strategic implementation programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Achieve 95%+ client satisfaction (CSAT) across all programs under management. Maintain 100% compliance with internal governance, risk, and quality frameworks. Drive measurable improvements in implementation efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes. Develop and retain high-performing leadership talent, with a minimum of 90% team engagement score.
Key Responsibilities and Activities Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the implementation function.
- Align implementation initiatives with broader business and client strategies.
- Represent implementation in executive-level planning and governance forums.
- Oversee a portfolio of complex, multi-region implementation programs.
- Ensure robust governance, risk management, and quality assurance practices are in place.
- Monitor program performance and drive corrective actions where necessary.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client executives and internal business leaders.
- Act as a strategic advisor during solution design, deployment, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead executive-level client reviews and contribute to commercial discussions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of implementation managers and senior specialists.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the implementation function.
- Drive standardization, automation, and scalability of implementation processes.
- Lead post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned into future delivery.
- Contribute to the development of tools, templates, and methodologies that enhance delivery quality.
