Key ResponsibilitiesTender Management & Documentation
- Monitor and track tender notifications from government portals (GeM, CPWD, eProcurement), PSUs, and private sector clients.
- Download, analyze, and interpret tender documents, including technical specifications, scope of work, bill of quantities (BOQ), and commercial terms.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals encompassing technical write-ups, commercial quotations, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted within stipulated deadlines.
Technical & Commercial Bid Preparation
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to develop technical proposals for STP, ETP, and WTP projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing strategies, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies and project requirements.
- Develop technical narratives, process flow diagrams, equipment schedules, and project execution plans for inclusion in bids.
- Review and validate vendor quotations and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and competitiveness.
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Expertise
- Leverage Operations & Maintenance (O&M) experience to incorporate O&M cost models, lifecycle analysis, and service-level agreements into tender submissions.
- Prepare O&M proposals including manpower planning, consumables budgeting, preventive maintenance schedules, and performance guarantees.
- Ensure O&M scope clarity and alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure strict compliance with tender eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and statutory obligations (GST, EMD, bank guarantees, etc.).
- Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement) and external stakeholders (vendors, consultants, clients) to gather necessary inputs for bid preparation.
- Maintain a centralized repository of tender documents, bid submissions, and correspondence for audit and reference purposes.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform bidding strategies and pricing decisions.
- Maintain a tender pipeline tracker and provide regular updates to management on bid status, win/loss analysis, and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the water and wastewater treatment sector.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional certifications in project management, tendering, or water treatment technologies are a plus.
Experience
- 1–4 years of hands-on experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management within the water/wastewater treatment industry.
- Mandatory project experience in at least one of the following:
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
