Introduction and business Profile:
The Company is an integrated Logistics Service Provider (LSP) servicing multiple ports in India.
Its key areas of expertise are:
· Intra terminal transportation of containers in Container terminals
· Lashing and unlashing services in terminals
· Stevedoring of Bulk, Break bulk and project cargo
· Ship agency services
· Stevedoring of project cargo
· Labour supply for loading/ discharging of ships
· Managing container freight stations
· MHE supply
· Warehouse management
The group currently services major customers in:
· Mumbai Port (stevedoring and Agency)
· JNPT (Intra Terminal Transportation)
· Mundra (Intra Terminal Transportation/ Agency/ CFS Management/ MHE supply)
· Kochi (Intra Terminal Transportation)
Resource Requirements:
The Company is currently looking for senior management candidates to expand their activities in other ports/ locations in India. The scope of work can be as mentioned above, or activities related to the same.
With its strong balance sheet and long-term vision, the company is willing to make large scale investments in man and machines upon getting long term contracts.
The candidate must be well versed in port activities and should bring along deep connections and relationships with various ports/ terminal/ clients (shipping lines/ exporters/importers/CFS / ICD operators)
The candidate should be able to pitch Company services to:
· Ports (bulk and Containers)
· CFSs
· ICDs
· SEZs
· Warehousing Zones
· In factory storage and handling facilities
Apart from the services mentioned above, Company can also integrate forwards or backwards with transportation services to complete the first or last mile.
Company also has an ability to quickly expand its geographic reach to operate Pan India.
The various activities that Company can undertake could be on a Per TEU rate, a Per ton rate or on a monthly fixed rate.
The candidate must be able to engage with potential clients and secure long term and economically beneficial contracts for Company.
Past experience:
The candidate should have previously worked in:
· Companies with similar activities
· Ports/ Terminals
· Shipping Lines
Other Criteria:
· The candidate should be middle aged (40-50 Yrs.)
· Have the ability to travel
· Apart from having marketing skills, should understand the operational aspects
· Have relationships with vendors/ sub-contractors to deploy wherever needed
· Have the ability to identify and create a strong team under him/her
· A master mariner certification would be beneficial but not compulsory
Expected CTC: Rs. 30-50 lacs PA all inclusive.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
